NJ.com: Everything Jersey

Thoughts? I haven't searched to see which are being reduced 100K+, but I do see they are doing it across the country, just not here.

The closest development to me is dropping prices these 3 days a little more than 5%. I still feel the base price of those particular homes (before upgrades), coupled with the taxes, is too high.

Is it enough? Maybe this will entice first time homebuyers, but existing homeowners still may have that albatross around their necks.

I am heading to a Khov building in Jersey City tomorrow to price out a 1 bed, but you're right. Most of these developments need MUCH more than 5% chopped off their prices.

give us a report after you get back. I'll bet you can negotiate lower if it's a place that interests you. i tried to get to the KHov site before to take a look, but it was really slow, and now it's down.

btw - i made your baked rigatoni from the food board last weekend - perfetto!!

With the great reputation you have with women here in C-D, I thought you'd look for at least 2 bedroom units

How about Marriage and Kids (maybe from a C-D woman-lol!) if that's in your future plans?

I'm ready to settle down, but it will NEVER be with a Jersey girl! I turn 30 in 3 weeks but if Khov entices me, I will stay single a little while longer.

We went down to a Khov 55+ in Jackson last week. They informed us that the model we were interested in was going to be $25,000 off the price plus $65,000 in upgrades.

Now if they just knock another $100k or so off, it'll almost be worth the price......lol.
