I have lived in Red Bank, and now Keansburg. I am looking for the best area to move with my 1yr old son, safe easy access to public transportation to NYC. I heard Elmora in Elizabeth is nice, can you guys suggest other places rent between 800-1000.

Thanks all, looking to move by 10/15/07 latest

Default bayonne

Try Bayonne, commute to NYC is easy and it is a safe place. I lived there for a time and our rent then was $1050 for a two bedroom apartment.

drive by Elmora and you'll see how safe and convenient everything is .. everything you need is within walking distance, it's nice and you'll find something for that price range. .. good luck!!
