For buying your own groceries, one word: Corrado's. They have the best prices in the area on produce, meat, and prepared foods. You're also not far from the new Fairway store in West Paterson on Rt. 46. It's more expensive than Corrado's but they have great stuff and good sales. It's also a beautiful store. There's also a Shop Rite on Hamburg Turnpike. It's old and a bit run down, but I've found it to be the least busy Shop Rite in the area, which is a plus in my book. There's a Trader Joe's on Hamburg Turnpike too.

I don't know much about restaurants in the area, but I would definitely recommend driving to the other side of town to check out Chengdu 23 near the Willowbrook Mall, or, if you're up for a little more of a ride, Chengdu 1 on Rt. 23 in Cedar Grove. Both are excellent, authentic Szechuan style Chinese restaurants. Chengdu 23 might deliver as well.

Thank you as I was not thinking about groceries but that's important as well since we will be cooking 90% of the times. Will check out Corrado's.

Also, we have a toddler and my wife insist on organic for the kid for whatever reasons and would appreciate any recommendation on supermarkets with the most amount of organic goods.

Also noted on Chengdu

Fairway would be a good bet for organic foods. Corrado's might have some stuff, but not nearly as much as Fairway.

But Corrado's has eggplant on sale for $.59 per pound this week. That's pretty tough to beat.

Aldo's Cucina has great Italian. The strip mall Location is not the best but the food is really good. Place is super loud and always packed. It's BYO.
