Rental Hall/Restaurant - Bergen County (Union, Rutherford: restaurants, price, food)

Ok so we are looking for a place to hold my daughters communion. 50-75 people. We first started looking into VFWs-Elks etc. Still a choice for us but just wondering if anyone new of a nice one. If we go this route we will need a caterer. Any suggestions on that?

We are also looking into restaurants. We like Maggianos because they had a nice room with space for the kids to run around but the wine packages are crazy! So then we started looking into maybe some BYOB restaurants that had rooms to rent out. Anyone have suggestions on this one? So far I found one place in Rutherford, Paisanos? Its a choice but pretty pricey.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Rutherford is a great place to start as it's a dry town so places will be BYOB.
There is 'After Athens' --has a nice amount of space and great Greek food.

In East Rutherford, you may want to look at Tao's as it's pretty affordable IMO for large parties and has a pretty eclectic menu and pretty cool looking place overall.

There is also the Greek Taverna in Glen Rock, NJ which has nice space and good food (I must be hungry for Greek food!).

Does it need to be Bergen County? I have a great place in Union County in Springfield.

lfsr1544 - Thank you!! I actually just came across After Athens! Its on my list! Will look into Tao and check out that caterer! Thank you so much! Glen Rock might be a little far but will check it out. The church is in East Rutherford!

It doesnt have to be Bergen County but not too far from East Rutherford. I have family coming from further away!

I am also looking for a party hall to have my daughter 30th surprise party. Game night for about 30 people. Looking for a cheap rental hall....please time in an issue need it by the end of October HELP!!!!
