Anyone has this worry free program, my AC condenser just failed today, and i was wondering if had gotten the worry free program 6 months ago, I would get a new unit for free?

It's only $13 per month and this new condenser is going to cost me $1400 including labor.

Is the worry free program worth it?

Not worth it.
If it can be repaired at all, they won't just replace it.

I have used them twice and both times they did an excellent job. First time my furnace stopped working and second time my AC tripped my circuit too many times. Both times, they came within 48 hours and fixed it without me having to spend a dime.

I've heard only negative things when it came to fixing real issues.

We had it for years when we lived in NJ. Every time I called they came out and fixed the furnace or AC. The last time I used them before we moved they had to replace a board on the furnace which would have cost me $450 without labor. I never had a problem, but maybe things have changed.

The Capacitor on our AC Condenser failed, was no charge to replace. They came this year, cleaned the furnace and filters for free. However, I needed coolant and was charged $30 a lb.

It's still worth it. It doesn't cover large major repairs

I used it for my dryer. I had to call them twice. The first time the guy said it was my vents that needed cleaning (hence my horrible experience with Crystal Clean) and the second time, when I told the guy the vent was clean, he discovered a broken part. I don't know if it's worth it but calling sears to come in once (before I got the worry free) was $125 then parts if needed... I'm waiting for my fridge to go now.

On my original HVAC system (a builder's special, of course), the following repairs were done, gratis, over a period of 14 years through the Worry-Free Program:

Replacement of defective circuit board
Replacement of capacitor
Recharging with refrigerant
Replacement of igniter (twice)
Replacement of fan motor (three times!)

I can add that the PSEG guys always arrived when promised, UNLIKE Verizon employees who most often do not show up for scheduled service appointments.

Others may have heard negative comments about the Worry-Free program, but they certainly did not hear them from me.

I am using the worry free and they are ok. They did come on on time. The ok part is on part order. They have a part order placed 2 weeks ago and still not here. I call them up and they said it could takes 3 to 5 weeks. Gee... Luckily, it is not something emergency.

Btw, for those who complaint about not getting an appointment, they usually needed a weekend appointment. Of course, that will be a problem. If you pick weekday, there are plenty of availability. I scheduled 2 and able to pick them within a 2 days time frame. Of course, they were a week day.
