Most universities in NJ and in this country seem to accept freshman, sophomore and begining junior as transfer student. Why? because there is "residency requirement", student needs to study at the university for certain years (normally 2) in order to get their degree.

If there is no such requirement, I would recommend good students to transfer to Harvard Univ, MIT, or any expensive university at last sememster to get the famous university degree at much lower cost...

NJ schools are the toughest in the country to transfer to. Not that the application/acceptance part is difficult, but getting all your credits transferred is. NJtransfer.com is a website where you can put your classes in and see if the university you had in mind will accept the credits. Or, call and talk to the transfer office at the school you are looking into.

Well, I know some teachers at Piscataway schools living at Bronx NY area and commute to teach here. So, if I were you, I would probably trying to finish degree from Queens College NY than worrying about transfer. You may try to arrange in a way so that courses can be taken in, say, 3 days, rather than 5 days, and doing homework or programs remotely... Commute by train may also let you study, sleep or writing homework at train...
