Higher drug & alcohol rates, higher divorce rates, poverty rates, abortion rates, etc. The whole Bible thumpin bluster is just that, bluster. Lots of them don't practice what they preach.
I think everyone with even the least amount of intelligence realizes that this is a true problem. Many states (primarily in the south) are useless and full of uneducated and incompetent people. The next step is to solve the problem.
Well, Barbara Bush did say that Jeb was "the smart son" in the family.
She didn't characterize Dubya's intellect, but I think that she implied it with that statement.
I agree that we don't need dynasties in this country, no matter what the family name might be.
She also said that she does not want Jeb to run and that the country needs to fresh mind from a new family.

my tea party is joining with a bunch of other tea parties to basically say that if another McCain or Romney is nominated, they wont support the republican candidate. im on board. if Christie gets nominated, I wont be voting for him. ill vote libertarian.

Talk about hypocrisy. Just earlier today you had concerns about EBWick's remarks and told them to discuss it in another forum. But when I say the same thing to do, you go all offensive. This is very telling of the kind of person you are. Your hyprocrisy is not an admirable trait.

you insulted the south and you insulted me. you are also saying back to me exactly what I said to you. that's an interesting tactic but it doesn't change the fact that you are the one insulting and offering nothing to the conversation.
