Not that I know. I've read that the old stories could have been attributed to a rare, large raptor from South America settling there after a storm.
I don't know if it was the same Jersey Devil that others are talking about but I felt like I was living in Hell with my first wife.

Yeah, I saw the Jersey Devil once. He was hanging with bigfoot, Nessie and Elvis....
