Hi All,

I am considering buying a new home in Old York Village part of Chesterfield , built by American Properties. The area seems to be nice however I had a few concerns :

how is the school district? The Chesterfield elementary school is relatively new and was wondering how the school is? Also how are the middle and high schools rated?

Is this area safe for young families with little kids?

Does anyone have any bad experiences with American properties?

Any other concerns in this area?

Please share your thoughts on the above as we quickly need to make a decision. Thanks.

Sid

Hi Viswa,

as far as the schools go, the elementary is good . mid and high school are not that great. chesterfield is sharing those with some other towns i guess. American properties is offering a good sized home with lots of upgrades at a decent price so value for money is good but re-sale might be a concern if you are thinking of moving out in a couple of years. Hope this helps.
