the truth is that people who are overweight are eating more than is necessary to keep them full. people say stuff like the above to pretend as if starvation is required to keep them at a reasonable weight but that is bs. I can maintain a good weight very easily while still eating anything I want but limiting the quantity. there is plenty of room for ice cream, cake, fried foods, etc. while not being overweight. the challenge comes when you are trying to get to the next level of leanness.
