:::gasp::: Four years ago I was invited to someone's home for the holiday meal. I was quite surprised that there was no stuffing or cranberry sauce. That's un-American.

If it's the whole berry type, at least you can dress it up a bit.

I keep a can of cranberry sauce in the back of the pantry for such emergencies.

I am 58. This is the first time in my life that there was no cranberry sauce at Thanksgiving. I hope we didn't set some dark wheel of fate in motion by neglecting the cranberry sauce.
