Anyone have a recommendation for an electronics parts store in NJ? We live in southwestern NJ, but come from Bergen County originally, and we're willing to go anywhere in the state. My husband has been looking for a parts store where he can peruse... uh, parts. (I don't know diddly about electronics.) Do they even exist any more? My husband likes to fiddle around with his Raspberry Pi, and also enjoys building circuits that do what he considers "fun". Lots of blinking and counting going on; I try not to ask too many questions. Many years ago, he was a bench tech and he has never lost the love of making things work again. He's the kind of guy who takes apart blown CFL bulbs and carefully removes the usable parts and then gets inspiration from YouTubers who do the same thing and build circuits that do other tasks.

Thank you so much to everyone who replied! What a bunch of great suggestions. And I didn't even know there was a Micro Center in Philly. I will check out these places further and discuss with my husband which candy store he would like to visit first.
remember when radio shack actually used to sell this stuff?
