Sure is quiet in here today - power outages??

its not from lack of effort if its quiet.

My son had a Power outage in Old Bridge, NJ. Trees were down in his apartment complex. Some hit and bashed thru a window of one of the buildings. He is lucky, his building was ok. He spent the night at his Fiance's house because he didn't want to sit in the dark.
He said he had never seen wind gusts like that before.

I'm an interloper from across the river, but the past few days I've been plagued by unrelated

• cable outage,
• internet connectivity spottiness and
• dense static on the phone.

Cranky ? You bet!

I did ok - slight outage on Saturday night but it didn't last long. But others by me must have had it worse as all I could hear outside was the sound of chainsaws and tons of Verizon and JCP&L trucks going back and forth down my street.
