If someone hits you, you're going to have serious problems. Stop driving, unless you have to drive a grandparent to a hospital, and fix this mess. Lawyers are expensive.
Legally, I'm "visiting" California, because I never registered to vote here in California. When you register to vote, that legally changes your residency. I've asked people on here who had moving experience and they said changing your address on USPS (which I did not even do) does not even change your legal residency. Registering to vote is the only way and I don't want to do that since I still have financial dependence. I only changed my addresses for rewards programs and any retailer I shop online. Also, I never even made an attempt to get a California license, because it doesn't make sense to do that especially when I don't want to deal with the DMV hassle during a pandemic when my NJ license still has 3 years left on it.
No , no you're not and who ever told you different lied to you.Don't blame the pandemic becuase you're making dumb decisions.

I can drive my car since Geico approved me to do that although I have a NJ license. Car insurance companies follow the law. But sure, it's fraud to collect NJ unemployment.
From what I know you can visit most anywhere, subject to other non-related restrictions, but if you make it back to your home state every so often, not sure of the time period, you'd have to check, you are still fully legal.
