I hope someone could help me. I'm from CT. I have been looking at Hilton Hotels in Edison, Rahway, and Linden.
I'm not familiar with the areas. I have read all the reviews for each the Hilton Hotel. I still can't seem to decide which city to stay at despite the fact Hilton Hotel in Edison seems to be my kind of place.
Could you tell me how bad is the drive from Edison to Linden, or vice versa? I have to be at work by 6:45 AM in Linden. I'm wondering if it's worth the drive or not. I don't care much about the night life as long there is Stop and Shop near by to do some grocery shopping and Korean/Vietnamese and Indian restaurants nearby.
At that time of day in morning, theres barely anyone on the road at that time. So getting there for 6:45 is no problem. But, getting home (or maybe to hotel in this case) would be different. Once 4 pm starts, theres some traffic - thats when people start to get out from work. But, once 4:30/5 comes, its lots of traffic. Once 7 pm comes, theres not too much. There might be some leftovers, but pretty much done.
That's a local ride a few towns over,,, mostly on US#1 highway. Guessing probably about 20 minutes most of yhe time. US#1 does get quite popular because it's toll free vs the other alternative the New Jersey Yank My Crank (Turn My Pike).

Central Jersey roads are already very congested by 6:15 AM. That being said, the distance from Edison to Linden is short enough that, even with congested traffic, the OP can probably make that drive in ~25 minutes.
