Cable/Internet will vary from town to town but it’s usually either Comcast, Optimum (or Altice as they’re going by now), or Verizon. For gas and electric it’s always been PSE&G anywhere I’ve lived in NJ. I don’t think there’s another option.

It's Jersey Central Power and Light where I live know, and Rockland Electric in some of the towns that border New York State, but if you are still going for Lodi, it will be PSE&G.
Dont forget you and most everyone can get about 71 high definition TV STATIONS,,,, FREE. over the air. Some of these are not on cable anywhere. Should have this even if you get pay tv. Always on.

Since the guy isn't from here, he might not "forget" because he might not know how to do this. As a matter of fact, I don't, either. Why don't you give that information.

Yes I do that now get about 20+ stations in the MD area. So will set up accordingly and hopefully will pick up most of them (wow 71 - that's a lot)
I asked purely as an option to consider - I have NEVER had cable here in US or Australia (and hence never 'cut the cable' coz i never had it) - will stick to netflix, amazon prime and youtube and hopefully will get the 71 stations!
Is dish network an option - forgot to include that ? I assume you pick it up via a satellite dish ? I also believe you can get internet via the same dish ? curious - doesn't hurt to know all your options

It's simple. Just plug an antenna into the back of your TV and point the antenna towards NYC.

Well don't get too excited about 71 channels. Many of them are foreign language, religion, and shopping channels. But at least you'll get the major networks like NBC and CBS, as well as some channels that show retro old shows.
