Hello all,

Just interested in reading about your experience while either driving or commuting to New York during Covid-19. Have your car with NJ license plates being stopped at check points? Are people still free to travel? Have you been asked for vaccine - rapid test results - fines etc.

Thanks in advance!

No. There are no restrictions on travel between NJ and NY.

As a matter of fact, the traffic volume over the Port Authority bridges is now only 15% less of what it was in 2019. More people are driving than are using public tranportation.

+1
The rumored "police state checkpoints" are non-existent, even though some nervous nellies seem to think that they exist.
This falls into the same category as the mythical NJ Gas Pump Police.
Some people really do believe that a cop is going to arrest them if they pump their own gas in NJ, and that fable is ridiculously persistent.

Nobody is stopping you. Its also against your 14th ammendment right, so make sure to bring a copy of the Constitution on your travels.
