As previous posters mentioned, the lofts at the town center in Robbinsville near Rt130 is the best option, walkable, decent choices of restaurant and bars and close to Hamilton train stations too, for a quick getaway to the city.

I am unimpressed with Robbinsville Town Center. It’s a fake “lifestyle center.” Err, now we called them “mixed use developments” I suppose. It’s an island among suburban sprawl. And there are no walkable bars there. The number of business establishments is small. Very heavy on the residential, rather light on the business, which is how almost all of these developments go. Bordentown and Princeton are real authentic downtowns. The only caveat is that, yes, finding a rental apartment will be easier in Robbinsville proper. But the OP should know what it really is like there.

I definitely prefer Bordentown's downtown area to Robbinsville -- I completely agree on this. Princeton's is also much nicer, but a bit further out since she's working at Amazon.
