But I don't, because being a crappy neighbor causes long-lasting problems that could be avoided with simple measures like not riding your motorcycle in front of someone else's house needlessly.

My point was it’s not causing any harm. The neighbor doesn’t have to like it but that reaction seemed unwarranted.

The question was not if OP does harm. It is illegal. If he cannot get into his driveway via the public road who knows what ruckus he causes making it by means of the sidewalk.
Unwarranted? Please let the person he sideswipes one day know. Sidewalks are meant for pedestrians. It is their vehicle free zone.

But it puts her in a position to be liable because it is her property. That poster made a joke about icing his sidewalk if it was him, but if there were ice on the sidewalk or something else, and OP skidded out he could sue her for not maintaining the sidewalk in front of her house. Not saying he would, ut she doesn't know that and why should she take a chance?

It's illegal, but everything in NJ is illegal, so I wouldn't worry about that. Don't reward your neighbor being a jerk, keep doing it except for when you see a cop around.

Read the thread and you'll know why I can't just back it in. I'm on a hill

The neighbor who bitched was a guy not a girl.
And this guy, since I've lived here, parks his truck so close to the entrance of our driveway (when he's not parked in his driveway) that it makes it a pain to park the car/s so that there far enough to the edge that I can get the bike between them. But I don't complain and I just deal with it/figure it out. Because the road isn't my property and he can park where ever he wants, as long as it's not after where my drive way exits.

Exactly. I pull in going on a few mph. I'm not ripping up the walkway. And it's only like a 10-15 maybeeee 20 foot stretch of sidewalk

You can clearly see people, if there is people, on it. I'm not going up the block on it. I'm going at MOST <20 feet. If there were people I would stop, wait, than roll through. Going only a few miles an hour

Being neighborly would also be coming over and having a conversation. Not walking over and aggressively telling me not to do it. Up to this point he never mentioned anything about it nor gave any indication that it was a problem. Out of nowhere just walks up and starts telling me not to do XYZ. If the conversation went a little differently maybe I would be more likely to take his feelings into play.

Look it's the side walk not the parking lot or the garage. You should not be parking on it or riding on it, you're being selfish. 5 pages of people telling you and you still won't listen, it's on you.
