Nursery schools start at age 2. As you know very little about the topic I assume you don’t have small children. Thank you for not answering any of the questions I asked on the post but for being obnoxious and giving your opinion which was not asked for.

You do know "nursery schools" are not real schools, it's a different name for a day care they fall under the same rules and regs as a Day care facility. Look parents are the problem not the children, parents who think they know it all and end up not helping the child. Not only do I know more then you Teaching is the family business . Mrs. 33 years, One Daughter 7 years, other Daughter 12 years and is currently a Principle working of her Doctorate. I get it I didn't sweet talk you and tell you what you wanted to hear, sorry.

I don’t even know what you’re talking about. It’s very simple…. I asked a question, if you don’t have an answer for the question, you keep scrolling. Boredom can be dangerous, stay safe.

Ah, I get it. I didn't give you what you wanted. I'm sure the public schools will give you what you want.

Are you, our resident expert in education despite apparently having no actual experience, claiming that most schools test kids to get into kindergarten?

Well, this has really gone off the rails. I don't know any public schools in my area of Monmouth County that test for Kindergarten. I also don't know any that will let a child born after the cutoff date in early. The only reason testing even came up is that the only times I've read about schools letting kids "start early" is if they offer some kind of testing.

OP - Catholic schools are more likely to be able to be flexible. Do you know when you'll be moving - is your daughter starting school in NY? If she's already in Kindergarten when you move it makes a better case for continuing on in Kindergarten. I don't think I'd waste time calling a bunch of different schools. Would you really put your kids in a school far from home for years just to start Kindergarten early? I think your best bet is to call the diocese and see if there is one policy or if each school sets their own. Good luck!
