I’m not aware of any policy that says you’re forced to buy an EV
Oh boy... this is why people are democrats. They tell they're smart and keep them in the dark.
~80% of the threads here are about offshore wind, taxes and dictator murphy. All of it with a common goal to get you to lose your car, heat and eventually house.

I agree. You have to be living under rock at this point to be ignorant to the fact that Dems are requiring everyone to buy an EV and convert their houses to all electric or solar heat in the next 5-10 years. Yet these dumb people keep voting D and then complain when they cannot afford to live here anymore due to the ridiculous policies they keep voting for like idiots!
No, not yet at least. But they absolutely have legislation already approved to ban gas cars and gas/oil heat in the future.
Also little to these people know is once they get your car, heat/oil they want to get rid of your (future) EV car and Single Family Home. Literally written in their 2050 agenda, it says electricity will become so expensive that people will be forced to move into (state controlled) high-density housing, EV's will be phased out, and people will be moved onto a state controlled electric public transportation system. They literally want to/are weaponizing electricity to enact socialism/communism into the state.
This is one of the reasons why its extremely important to elect a Republican Governor next election. Starting in 2027 they will start to limit the amount of gas cars being able to be sold in the state.
