Another thing that the new Governor will need to fix is the ridiculous lie he told seniors that Property taxes are going to be cut in half for them. This probably got the unpopular Governor the winning 1% margin to continue his governorship but he kicked the can down the road where it will be the next Governors problem in 2026/7. Money doesn't grow on tree's so its either not happening, or expect massive tax increase for everyone elses homes.

Hey, if Cory "Look Into My Eyes And See The Back Of My Skull" Booker can get elected, anything is possible.

This Braka guy is a lock if he announces that he identifies as a female.

Yeah, I don't see how that one's going to happen, but if I am still in NJ and ihappens, I would benefit. Don't think I will be, though by then I should be retired for good and have gone elsewhere. Just not sure yet where elsewhere is.

I do have to give Murphy his props. His pension exclusion saves me thousands a year at tax time.

It could’ve been my first post. You’d still be wrong.

Not to hijack this thread and I am not a Murphy supporter but he has reduced senior taxes as follows

- Senior Tax freeze

- Anchor Rebate

Both of these have reduced my taxes by $2400 a year which equates to 36%.

I don't want to get into the politics of it all, but Republicans wanted to give 100% of the tax refund back in late 2022. Murphy gave back about 50% it two sums before elections and then spent the other half on his special projects.
