I'm Christian. I'm Catholic. I'm from the point of view that Christians should be LIKE Christ though - which is ACCEPTING, loving and understanding... not what a lot of Christianity has evolved into. I do have my beliefs and values, many are not in agreement w/ my Church (heck, I don't agree w/ MYSELF all the time!!!) but there are some core values there.

You know, I credit the Franciscans - LOVE the Franciscans. If it were not for them, I'm sure I would have left the Church by now.

this is a union negotiated contract, they had to work on labor day anyway, they just got a holiday because the factory would have to shut down if everybody took off. this is no different than jews getting rosh shashana off or yom kippur, if you are in a union you are allowed to bargain. Not muslim but sometimes i think we are back to mcarthyism in america, anything to do with Islam is negative today just like communists.
