So what's everyone's take on Vernon? I hear it's a financial NO right now, is this true? Is the township that deep in financial "poop"? What about the school systems? And how about the towns surrounding Vernon? Are they good quality, trashy, gang-filled, etc.? Coming from this area, we all know about Vernon because of Action Park (sorry, Mountain Creek, but it will always be Action Park to my generation) and skiing, etc., but we never hear much talk about actually "living" there or the surrounding area.
