I'm starting a consulting job in Ridgefield NJ in a few weeks and am considering my commuting options from Center City Philadelphia. Most weeks I'll probably just stay in Ridgefield, but if I wanted to commute I'd like to be prepared for the drive.
Does anyone have any experience driving this long stretch of the turnpike (nearly all of it) in rush hour traffic? Is it just a crazy idea? More than 2 hours time?

Thanks.
You'll hate the Lonnnnnnnng and traffic ridden commute.
Just be careful if you go for this for the itchy pen ticket writer COPS in Ridgefield - I should know as I live here.
Obviously I'll hate it. And I'll likely not do it on any regular basis, but there will be times when it is necessary. Is this a 1.5 hour, 2 hour, or 3 hour drive?

Depends on traffic and weather conditions as all those scenarios will come into play.
