I'll see if there are any fairs/festivals happening out that way as well and let you know what I find out. You can always take a trip into NYC? Bus, train or car...
Looks like only one in NJ - Bloomfield which is about 20 mins. east of Parsippany. May want to check and see if there are any in PA or NYC? A trip to New Hope / Lambertville might be fun for you... About 1 hr. west of parsippany. Artsy Fartsy - Hippy towns - great restaurants, bars, etc. Nice day trip.

There's/was a turkish restaurant in Hackettstown that does belly dancing - ladies night on Thursdays..at least they use to. It was fun : )
