Fortunately, I quit. I had started again after a 13 year hiatus. Damn teachers tought the kids about the dangers of smoking and they guilted me into quitting. I hear it's bad for ya!!! Miss it every day, but my kids are happy and that is what matters most.
Oh yeah, then there is the TV commercial with the 25 year old girl who lost her voice box.
LOL!

My parents were each 2.5 packers a day. Almost $13K a year in cancer sticks.

I had Pea Soup on Sunday!!! And I am FAR from starving. It was awesome!!! We made it in one of those HUUUUUUGE Crab pots. 4 bags of peas, 2 huge hams with the bone in. My sister and her tribe came over and we all ate till we were stufed and I sent her home with about a gallon of leftovers. I have 3 country crock tubs full in my freezer. MMmmmm MMmmmm Good!!!!!

Let me guess...

You use name brand shampoo, as well?

I buy everything at Wal-Mart. Can't beat a 70 cent box of ziti that lasts for three days.

If, by brand name, you mean Target or Walmart brand, sure do!

I'm 165lbs, 5'11", and according to my doctor, in fantastic health - and I told her about the crappy foods I like to eat. Including entire tubs of ice cream when the mood strikes. She said no worries, I'm healthy, I can get away with it as long as I continue to exercise like I do

Put the left over ham in there and all......But, as usual, it was all hubby's because neither them nor I thought we might like to have it.....
There was lots of frozen pea soup for a long time.
Gotta tell you - I love pea soup so I could go for a while on this.

I'm sooo an anti-smoker - even thought I like you guys. LOL

My grandparents smoked like chimneys, my father too... when I was 18 I had problems breathing and when I was tested my doctor, very condescendingly, said Well, if you stopped smoking you may do better." I never even tried a cigarette in my life. That's when I learned about second hand smoke. My grandmother insisted it was BS but my Mom threatened to put her on the street if she didn't stop smoking in the house. 6 months later, no problems.

When I was a kid/teenager, I ate them like crazy. I can't eat them without getting sick, anymore. My guess is it's the sodium that does me in.
