Those stations on Tonnele have always had gas cheaper than surrounding areas. I remember driving home once on that road in '86 and gas was 69 cents. I saw $3.13 yesterday in Sayreville.
In May of 86 I filled up my car at a gas station in Bellmawr, it was 62 cents a gallon. My car had only a 10 gallon capacity, and my bill was 5 bucks. That's the lowest I can ever remember paying for gas.

Mine was probably around the same time - it was warm out and I was in school. Adjusted for inflation, that's $1.16 today. I suddenly feel very old.
Maybe I should send her my AARP card. When you get pulled over you flash the cop and present the card. They don't like to give seniors tickets.
Or she can just give the cop a quarter if he rubs her bunions. OT here for a sec. I used to have to do community service in college (it was Jack Daniels fault) so I chose to work at a local nursing home. No lie, the lady there offered me money if I would rub her feet ::gagging::
