i hate going to oragnized parties for special stuff like new years. you pay more and you get less. better to go to a friend's home or stay with family and go out another night.

If you are interested in international travel, consider this: couple months ago round trip air fare from USA to Russia(Moscow) was... are you sitting? $400.

Because of economy and oversupply of seats on the planes you can experience Europe for the same amount as if you would go to Seattle or SF.

Keep in mind you will need visa(s), current prices are higher, but still may worth of consideration.

Just a thought.

What spammers. Do you mean my post about $400 tag? It was real deal just couple of months ago.

Paris, London, Amsterdam, Berlin may be even cheaper.
