Also because Bergen County have great home value and will continue to hold value.

Much like Hudson County, Bergen county benefits hugely from being a suburb of NYC. Places like Edgewater And Fort lee are waterfront communities that you can be in NYC in 20 minutes or less.

Thats probably through the bus or Ferry. But the commute on the light rail is not bad! And driving to NYC is a breeze...except rush hour.

I'm moving back to NJ after years in Westchester. I don't know quite why either, but I think part of it is friendlier people, good shopping, Whole Foods, Trader Joes, Veggie Heaven in Teaneck and relatively safe and close to my job in NYC. I'm not what you'd call "glitzy" by any stretch.

I never thought about taking the train.
Are these buses reliable even during winter and snow? How about delay due to road accidents? Just to get an idea, how many days on a average in a year do the NJ transit buses reach NYC on time? For example, the Metro North Hudson line trains I take into NYC would be late on say 2 or 3 days per year. Otherwise it is dot on time (in fact before time most of the days)
