Hi, We are planning our move to Piscataway. My husband has started with J&J and so we need to be close to Piscataway. I need help with info. about the neighborhoods nearby. Our main concerns are good schools(esp. elementary and middle), safety and diversity. We are asian Indians with two kids 9 and 5. I liked the Basking ridge area, but found the rents pretty steep like $2500 for 3 bed 2 bath. Would also appreciate realtor recommendations to help with the renting. Thanks so much!!!

See if you can find a home that sends children to Randolphville Elementary in Piscataway. It's safe, very diverse and RE is a very good school. You'll find that the only part of Piscataway which doesn't have a lot of desis is the section near Plainfield.

thanks syncmaster for your input. I was also looking at Kendall Park. I would like to get valuable suggestions for elementary schools and would also like to know about the middle school - Crossroads north and south, which one is better. Also, if there are any realtors onboard who specialize in areas like Kendall Park, Basking Ridge... pls. write back, much appreciated..... thanks
