I'm not aware of any trains that run from NJ to Staten Island. The only routes I know of would be by car as dhanu86 mentioned: Goethals Bridge from North Jersey or the Outerbridge Crossing from Perth Amboy.
If you were really in a pinch, you could take NJ Transit to Newark, Path to the Financial District and then take the Staten Island Ferry.
No trains exist from NJ to Staten Island. Oh..what a nightmare your commute will be. Dont even bother with the commute. Either:
1 ) move to Staten Island
2) Find another job in NJ or NYC
No trains to SI from NJ. So punch in the start and end points in google maps and take it from there. All three bridges stink during during rush hour but the Goethals has a tendency to be the worst.
thanks somuch everyone for your responces.Does anybody know the best way to find out the bus routes from SJ to Staten Island ?
