I never understood the fascination of owning a snake as a pet...is not like they can run in a park or kiss you on the cheeks.

Hey people own Pit Bulls around kids. Nearly the same thing. I love all animals but snakes just seem so unlikeable and useless as a pet.

Altough Pitbulls are an agressive breed, if properly trained they can be wonderful pets (see Cesar Milan's dog on his show) but can you train a snake?

true..I think it comes down to another irresponsible pet owner. he had the snake in a bag... in an aquarium..I wonder if it had a cover on it

I don't mind snakes just don't want one as a pet

Cesar probably adopted that dog from some gangbanger. 1 out of every 2 dogs in union city is a killer dog like a pit bull. This is a scientific fact. A person will buy one of these dogs as an accessory to help portray the image that they are a gangbanger. What a sad state when this is something to aspire to.

Oh I know you're right, also, see Michael Vick as a point of reference as well.

I think the reason people own snakes is because they think its cool and need something to talk about.. you cant do anything with a snake you cant play or snuggle with it and even feed the darn thing is down right nasty.... Poor little baby... that family learned a hard lesson.
