Background: My spouse will join work in Princeton and I a few blocks north of Grand Central in Manhattan. We are looking at Metropark/Woodbridge as a place to stay.
I just wanted to ask people in the area: Are there apartments/housing societies (for renting) within a few minutes (less than 10) of walking from either Metropark or Woodbridge stations?
If not, what are alternatives to get to the station, how long does it take you from your door to the train, and about how long are the commute times that I am looking at?
There are several apartment complexes on Gill Lane in Iselin that are within 10 minutes of Metropark. There are smaller multi-unit houses/buildings near the Woodbridge station, but they're typically pretty rundown.
True. I agree with Bob. A better condo complex is Edison Hollow South where I lived about 5 minutes walk to Edison Train Station. I just checked the community blog that has 3 units listing for rent, if you are interested in, you may call EHS Board of Trustee Danny 908 635-2037 (cell).
