I currently have Liberty mutual for both home and car insurance. I live in Bloomfield. The definately better than what I was quoted by allstate and statefarm.
That said, when you purchase insurance for a condo, check carefully with your association to determine what type of insurance is carried by the association. Usually it will only cover the rebuild of the outside of the building. Your insurance would then cover any rebuilding from the walls inward, including your belongings. The type of insurance to get is usually an H06 policy.
I have Liberty Mutual for home, car and umbrella insurances. We got the home owner insurance first and when we add on car later, they sent us a refund check for combined discount.

Most of the ones I have seen are based in the City. Probably your best bet would be to talk with your realtor who may have staff contacts within the community. Or, you may want to try http://www.whitepages.com.
Liberty Mutual was the cheapest among large insurers. There are a plenty of smaller companies that may very well be even cheaper.
