I have never been there, but some of my family has been to the town a few times, they say its a nice little town. They know people there, that have lived there for the past 60 or so years.

What do any of you know of this town/city? My work will be taking me there twice a week. Would be nice to know where to get a meal or gas stations along the way.

ERR sorry... my bad, I meant DEMING NM.. sorry for the error.

Hi Muhnay! It has been several months since I passed through there, but I think it's a nice little town.It is maybe 45 minutes west of Las Cruces, population maybe 10,000-maybe a little more. You have most of your chain motels off Interstate 10(motel circle exit), but there are a fair amount of mom and pop motels close to McDonalds. The Deming Truck Terminal, close to McDonalds, puts out an OK breakfast! A great place for dinner is Si Senor, close to downtown. Great Mexican food.I can't help much on shopping, rentals, etc.I live in Colorado, but nhave stayed in Deming several times for the night and got an affordable room and good food. There are a few threads on Deming with other opinions. Best of luck to you.
