It's not totally doomed. I think he has a better than average chance of becoming a VP candidate and will almost certainly be asked to assume some sort of office should the Democrat win the office. As such, he'll be able to come and go in that residence.

In my earlier comment and spending the oil & gas money, BTW, he didn't do what *ANY* other governor would have done with such a surplus (maybe Johnson wouldn't have ...).
Actually Mortimer, I think that is all that keeps Richardson in the chase: a possible spot as V.P. (likely with Clinton) or a kush diplomatic assignment (also with Ms. Clinton). He certainly knows at this late juncture that his bid for top cat will be fruitless. Actually, to be perfectly candid, I'm so completely underwhelmed by the entire political field on both sides of the aisle that I doubt much will change after the dust eventually settles. My man is Lou!
