We will have our athletic eighth grader with us when we relocate to TorC, hopefully within the next year. What are the local High Schools like and do they offer athletic alternatives (football, gymnastics, martial arts, etc.) for aspiring students?

Dracul.....Hot Springs high school in T or C does have Athletics as they compete in District 3-3A with Chaparral high, Cobre high, Hatch high, and Socorro high. They usually are a powerhouse in Football. Also the High school is brand new and state of the art as i think its a year old now.

As far as crime in schools that can happen anywhere as APS here in Albuquerque has their own Police Force to deal with issues on the campuses up here.

Thanks big fella. Yeah, I've heard this Hot Springs High School is strong in the gridiron department. I did not know it was brand new and high tech...that's a plus, I hope?!
