IMO, at present, you are woefully ignorant of all that's involved in buying undeveloped rural land for a future homesite, especially in the West, and you are likely to lose whatever money you invest and never get your dream home built. You need to educate yourself. There are a lot of threads in this forum, but there are also some in the Colorado thread relating to buying land in the San Luis Valley and other remote areas.
