I measured a level 8 inches in my driveway this morning, with even deeper drifts. Snow started yesterday around 5:30 p.m. and continued into the night. No plow service here, so I took the neighbor kids to school in my Jeep. Woo-hoo! This is the life. Here are two shots from my deck at 9,050 feet in the Sac Mts. It's quite windy, so a lot of snow has already blown out of the trees.
It made itself up here, big and all night. Unfortunately, I don't have boots (in storage) and can't get out--I did try and am now all damp and yucky just from trying to get some wood!
It doesn't look like it is going to stop either!

If it snows I'll try to take some photos.
