Had a early morning battle with a breakfast burrito in the car during a road trip: the burrito won.
Is my white cotton shirt a casualty, or can I save it?
What do you all do, if anything?
Just googling, start with soaking in oxyclean and washing, if it does not work try bleach, and last resort is soaking in white vinegar. Don't dry until stain is out.
I've had luck treating and then drying the garment outside on a hot sunny day in direct sunlight as this seems to diminish any residual stain. But not sure if this will work in winter.
Try hydrogen peroxide. I buy 29% for about 35 bucks a gallon, and use it a lot for laundry. For that application, I would dilute to about 10% and let it soak, checking every hour or so. Should get it right out of there.
My wife says "shout it out" [url=http://www.shoutitout.com/en-US/Pages/default.aspx

Shout did the trick. In five minutes soaking time plus the wash, chile stain was out completely. Even after a few days of sitting in my dirty laundry with the stain setting in.
