Harry, I might like cold weather, but I ain't a polar bear!!
I swim year-around, and the idea of swimming outdoors in either TX or NM in December-March is NOT appealing!!
I gotcha......believe it or not we had our pool open in the winter in Albuquerque as a few crazy's wanted to swim as we cranked up the heater.....lol....

Yeap it was heated for 7 1/2 months as it's usually until June when we can turn off the heater.
The Polar Bear club would kill me to have to enter freezing water like they do . I see them do that in Vermont on the news every year .
