I thought this was a petting zoo for kids. Is it a regular zoo with bears, etc.?

I haven't been, but I get the impression from reading an ongoing section in the paper that it is a regular zoo. They showcase different exotics and natives with each article.

In the My Clovis album, the cover picture is of one of those catchment basins that are everywhere to collect rainfall and avoid flooding. They let the water seep back into the ground rather than rush around sweeping things away. The one pictured is in one of the northeast neighborhoods, right in town. By the next day it was gone.

I guess I'd better work on some captions.

I went there as a kid all the time and loved it. But it's probably been 15 years since I was last there, so I can't vouch for its quality these days.
