Ugh. That's happened to me a couple of times too. Sometimes it comes out great and other times, it flops.

In case Cherokee doesn't answer, Arnold is about 30 miles or so of St. Louis.

I could be wrong but I seem to recall seeing a Farmers Market selling "Dixon" apples a few years back.
I do like a tasty apple but I'm not an apple aficionado so I guess the idea of spending a day just to buy a bag of apples is hard for me to grasp. Especially when the apple tastes no different from any other local orchards.

Manzano opens tomorrow. Just in case anyone is interested. Their site says they are "loaded" with apples.
