What is the best resource for finding available rentals in Socorro?

Summer rental needed for NMT student. My daughter prefers something close to the school. Room or partial home ok. She would like a rental that would allow a small rabbit. Please let me know if you have something available.

She is also interested in moving off-campus next year, so if you have rentals that will be available in the fall, please let me know.

Or, if there is a rental that is avail this summer and can continue through next year, that is also of interest.

Many students like to keep their space (and their stuff) housed while they go home for the summer. It could be as simple as finding an apt. or house you like and knocking on the door to ask. Posting something on a bulletin board in the student union building might work a bit better.

Landlords have the hardest time finding tenants in summer, so you're ahead of the game there. Might even try to negotiate for cheaper rent.

Default Socorro Rental Needed

Hello,

I will be looking to rent a home in Socorro, NM by summer. I am currently a home owner in Everett, WA just outside of Seattle. My home is up for sale at the time. I plan to drive my motorhome to Socorro soon and having a place for my family by June/July. I have two dogs, and a wife that will accompany me at that time. I will be staying in Socorro to attend New Mexico Tech as a transfer student. I have always been a good handyman in which I have taken good care of my home and past residences.
Please e-mail or respond to this thread if you will have a rental available. I am open to all rentals as long as I can walk/bike to and from the University and dogs are allowed. Thank you for your reply.

Eric

Try "Realator.Com" and look for manufactured housing or the links to RV parks.

BTW - this is nearly a double post and could have been put on your other thread.

Thank you for your reply Greg. Your feedback is appreciated. However, It is important that I have a thread title specific to "Renting". Ive been searching online for months and dont see a lot of posts on rentals in Socorro. I hope that my thread will bring me a few specific leads. Thank you sir.

just thought of something, there will not be a whole lot of rentals in the area, I would suggest you contact the university (I am sure you will) and how about Craigslist?

craigslist: new mexico classifieds for jobs, apartments, personals, for sale, services, community, and events

the craigslist doesn't work at this point, maybe this is because socorro is too small?
