I'm new to this posting and threading, so forgive me if I'm in the wrong place. I've just recently made plans to move to Taos New Mexico. I now live in a party town, and I'm sick and tired of the mind-set here. I tutor, and though it is tough to keep a full schedule, I do well. I also teach English 101 and 102 at the community college here. My problem is this; I haven't found an ounce of creativity, so I haven't been able to write--my dream! I'm planning my first trip to Taos in August, but I'm hoping to find a few of you out there who might be able to help me better discover Taos before my trip. The first question I guess I'd have to ask is if there might be a need for a tutor in that area. I have been successful with kids of all ages, but once they reach middle school, I try to stick with the reading and writing part of their curriculum. I've been extremely successful with one of my high school clients; his SAT writing score went up 40 points since he's been meeting with me! So, if there is anyone out there who might be able to check into this for me, I'd sure apprieciate it. My move won't take place for about a year yet...but I'm sure it won't hurt to put a few feelers out there...

If you want to tutor the best place to call would be the school. They would know the need for your profession best, and would gladly tell you the truth.

As for inspiration, that whole are is beautiful and I dont think youll have a problem writing there at all.
