They are really hard to read (esp. in the dark).

Of course, so were the Balloon plates they replaced.

Oh well.. they'll get replaced in 10-20 years soon enough.

I think the red center to the zia is what puts the plate dangerously close to the fugly zone.

If they did away with that, I'd like the plates a lot better. Anybody have a different opinion on the red?

It doesn't bother me. But since I live in TX for now, I have yet to see one on the road.

desert sun: Great! Why are you moving to Fort Worth? You will have TX plates before long.

gotta register my plates this month, so Im just gonna get the new plate while Im getting the tags, I gotta have it.

and my girlfriend has her heart set on Texas and the Dallas area is great, and I dont wanna be in the middle of the metro so I think we will relocate to the edge of Ft.Worth or to some smaller city outside it, maybe Burleson.

desert sun: I like Ft Worth, but I'd much rather live where the climate is less humid. I'm considering eventually moving to Socorro or Alamogordo. But it won't be any time soon. Burleson isn't bad, although it's growing like a weed.
