a) how old are you? you might qualify for one of the going back to college programs that Obama has offered or you might qualify for a Pell grant to go back to collegel. If you are careful, and buy second hand books, there will be some money left over, not much, but some. When you go back to college ask them for a part time job. It will be minimum wage, but it's some money.

b) what kind of work can you do? are you looking in just one place or can you look in surrounding areas? If you have your hearing and eyesight and are mobile, there should be something that you can do. Look at EVERYTHING that you know how to do, including washing dishes. Some money is better than none. Then later, you can look at something better.

c) there are some federal programs that you might be able to look into so that you will have the basic necessities until you can get on your feet. 1) the food stamp program. nearly everyone who is out of work can get food stamps 2) when you go to the food stamp place, ask them if they know of any programs to help you pay your rent/mortgage also electric and water. I know that for some people this is hard to do, but that is what you have been paying for when you worked.

I came across something else. If you think you can do farm work and, there are different types, many people who are looking for someone to help them offer free room and board and a some money.

GOOGLE: rodale farms then: NEW FARM (on the left panel) then: classifieds (on left hand panel) then: wanted

the wanted goes both ways, so scroll down and see if there is anything you think you can do. Answering an ad might be better using the email.

You may have to go to a different state, but do what you have to do to.

Hi helpme504..Please dont give up..I finally landed a $10 an hour job after 7 month's of looking..It may not be a large amount of money but I'll be able to pay car ins, cell and eat while I try to find a better paying job..So if your wondering..I was very polite and humble..Yes sir and yes mame goes a long way down here..I was'nt above washing dishes, cleaning, wallmart or cutting grass..Its very easy to get down and out down here for some reason..smack yourself in the face, take a cold shower..just get out there, hit the streets and be happy! Always smile! (a little praying never hurt either) Anyway I believe these things help"d me..I hope the advice helps..Goodluck
