Posted this in the main LA area but meant to post here! : Good evening everyone! I anticipate moving to LA in about the next 6 months. I work for Home Depot in Wisconsin currently. I have wanted to live in New Orleans all my life. I plan to transfer stores to the Nola store on S Claiborne Avenue. I'm a single parent with four teenagers, and need some help finding a decently safe place for myself and my kids. I'm from Milwaukee and want something better than here! Is there an area near that store that is a safe place for myself and my kids? I make about $80000 a year, obviously I need to live within my means. ... thank you in advance for your help!

How many bedrooms do you need? Are you planning on buying or renting?

Just my opinion, but 4 teenagers can get into a lot of trouble in New Orleans, there is much temptation.

I would search in the Lakeview area, but yes it very much depends on whether you're buying or renting. DO YOUR RESEARCH, being safe is hard to find but very key here!
