No problem!! Yes, it may just be a little slow due to the amount of people and the fact that one building is still pending c/o, but you should still hold out hope since a lot of people with high log numbers seem to be called! Good luck!

Anyway, let me know if someone is familiar with correct process of affordable housing.
Yes, the log numbers are generated during the randomization process. They do not represent the order in which applications were received. The order in which your application is processed depends on your log number and whether you fall into any preference groups. They are processing preference groups first, so if you have a low log number but no preferences, you might still get contacted after all of the slots reserved for the preference groups are filled.

Even though they are contacting the preference groups, the move-in date was pushed back, which is getting ridiculous. It was originally set for July 15, 2015. I heard they filed for c/o and hopefully will receive it soon. They need to get their act together and start letting people move in, geez.

I mean... this is how it is. When you enter the lottery, you can't count on getting called in at a certain time, or getting a particular move-in date. I get that it's frustrating, but there's not really anything to do but be patient.

I'm not speaking from a point of privilege on this either. They pushed back my move-in date, and I had to renegotiate a new, shorter lease with my landlord. I'm still crossing my fingers that HPS will let me move in at this newer date they set for me, but if they don't, I won't be shocked. It says right in the lease that you can't hold them at fault if the apartment is not ready at the designated start date of the lease for reasons beyond their control. Delays of this kind are not out of the ordinary for a building that's still under construction.

Some of the apartments in Crossings face a brick wall. They are trying to get rid of those, before they offer good ones at Commons, even though the building is still not finished. Though, the same can apply for the Commons building.

What date are they now giving you as the move in date.

I don't think so. It might slow down if people are waiting to move in/ be called for the next round of interviews. The thread will probably continue until both buildings are filled.

Nope...Im still hanging around and hoping. Sent in my documents May 4th, they checked my credit May 5th, I emailed them Monday May 11th and my case manager sent me an email saying some generic message about them getting around to my application eventually.

Im a municipal employee with an 8,000 log #
